Owners of six homes in Ashford, Cranbrook, and Tonbridge have reported burglaries between 8 June and 9 July 2025 in which it is alleged a man gained entry to the properties by smashing glass panels in patio doors, or via open windows.
Police attended each incident to carry out enquiries, including forensic analysis and a thorough review of available CCTV in which jewellery, watches, bags, cash, and WW2 medals were reportedly stolen.
A man was arrested on Wednesday 15 October in connection with the incidents. The man from Maidstone, was later charged and remanded with six counts of burglary and a number of driving offences.
The 42 year old appeared before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 October, where he was remanded to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 14 November.
