Police Seek Witnesses to Alleged Assault on Chatham High Street by Man with Black Goatee


Officers investigating an alleged assault on a man in Chatham are appealing for witnesses. Kent Police was called to the High Street near Whittaker Street at around 12.30am on Saturday 11 October 2025, where a man walking down the road was reported to have been punched by an unknown male. He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

The suspect is believed to be in his early thirties, of slim build and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a plain white polo shirt and black tracksuit bottoms with a white line down the side. He was reported to have short black hair and a black goatee.
