Police in Folkestone have moved quickly, arresting three people just hours after a break-in was reported at a popular town-centre pub. The incident occurred at The Samuel Peto Wetherspoon on Rendezvous Street shortly after 2am on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Patrols quickly arrived at the scene, and confirmed a window had been broken and bottles of alcohol had been stolen from the premises. A short investigation led officers to Brockman Road, where two people were detained.
Subsequent searches in the area resulted in the arrest of a third person, and a quantity of the stolen alcohol was recovered. A 37-year-old local man and two women, aged 50 and 38, also from the local area, were taken into custody where they currently remain while enquiries continue.
