Kent Police have launched an appeal for information after a spate of criminal damage saw the tyres slashed and wing mirrors damaged on at least six parked vehicles in the Kent village.

The vandalism is reported to have occurred overnight between Tuesday, October 14, and Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Officers are currently investigating incidents across several residential streets, including Norris Close, Ockley Road, and Heartenoak Road.

The damage, which included multiple slashed tyres and broken wing mirrors, has prompted police to conduct house-to-house enquiries and review CCTV footage. Detectives are now urging residents in the affected areas and beyond to urgently check their home security systems, including doorbell cameras, for any signs of suspicious activity. Police are particularly focused on the hours between 10pm and 6am during the night of the attacks.
