Detectives investigating the theft of a gold chain are appealing for information over its whereabouts. Kent Police was contacted on Tuesday 7 October 2025 regarding the theft of the item from a property in Pelican Close Strood between 11am and 12.30pm.

An investigation was completed into the incident and a local man aged 25 of no fixed address and a 25 year old local woman were arrested on suspicion of theft. They’ve since been bailed pending further investigation.
PC Alanya Spiller said:
‘Enquiries are ongoing to locate this missing chain. We are urging anyone who may have information about the theft or may have been offered the chain for sale to call our appeal line.’
