Three Albanian nationals in their 30s have been arrested in Dartford, Kent, after a specialist law enforcement team seized 250kg of cocaine from a lorry.

Officers from the London Organised Crime Partnership (NCA and Metropolitan Police) made the arrests yesterday. The cocaine has an estimated street value of £20million.

The men are currently in custody and being questioned on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. Andy Tickner of the OCP, said:

“This is a significant seizure of cocaine and without my officers’ efforts to seize it, it would have been on the streets of our communities feeding addiction and leading to other serious offences.”
