Kent Police was called at 5.36pm on Saturday 25 October 2025 to a report that a black Audi A3 had left the carriageway and entered a ditch off Faversham Road, Ospringe.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service who treated the passenger, a man in his 20s, for serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a stable condition. Investigators are looking for witnesses who may have seen the incident take place, particularly the driver of a vehicle reported to have been travelling in the opposite direction at the time.
