Police have launched a CCTV appeal after a petrol station on Tonbridge Road was targeted in a robbery on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The initial incident took place at 8.21pm at the business, near Wateringbury. It is alleged that two men entered the premises and stole alcohol before threatening shop workers who attempted to intervene as the suspects fled. In a brazen escalation, the suspects reportedly returned to the petrol station later the same evening. During the second encounter, the men caused damage near a till and proceeded to throw items at a shop worker before leaving with additional stolen goods.

Police attended the scene immediately and have been conducting extensive inquiries, including a thorough examination of the station’s CCTV footage.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/185418/25. Local residents with private CCTV and drivers with dashcam footage who were in the Tonbridge Road area on the evening of the robbery are also asked to review their recordings for anything that may be relevant.
