Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Chatham have made two further arrests following the death of a man in his 40s who was seriously assaulted at a private address in Castle Road on Saturday morning.

Kent Police were called to the scene at 10:12 am on Saturday, November 1, 2025, following reports of a serious assault. Emergency services found the victim suffering from an injury “consistent with a stab wound.” He sadly died at the scene despite treatment from paramedics. The two newly arrested men, aged 41 and 40, were detained over the subsequent two days and remain in police custody as the investigation continues.

A third person, a 45-year-old woman who was initially arrested in connection with the incident on November 1, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.


Officers are continuing to appeal for information from the public. They are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, as well as residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam footage, to check for relevant material.
