A fourth arrest has been made following the death of a man in Chatham after Kent Police was called at 10.12am on Saturday 1 November 2025, following a report of a serious assault at a private address in Castle Road.
Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 40s was treated for an injury consistent with a stab wound. The victim died whilst being treated by paramedics and an investigation was launched.
A fourth person, a man aged 51, was arrested yesterday Monday 3 November 2025 in connection with the incident. Two other men, aged 40 and 41 years old had also been arrested on Monday 3 November and remain in custody. A 45 year old woman who was arrested in connection with the incident on 1 November has been bailed pending further investigation.
Officers are continuing to appeal to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them. Residents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.
