£300,000 Dartford Counterfeiting Case Ends With Suspended Sentence

It has been reported a man has received a nine-month sentence suspended for 18 months and 150 hours of community service following a major counterfeit goods seizure in Horton Kirby.

KCC Trading Standards and Kent Police raided a business at Oakview Business Park, Horton Kirby, Dartford, seizing a large quantity of fake designer goods and unregulated tobacco products. Experts estimated the loss to legitimate brands at approximately £300,000.

The defendant pleaded guilty to multiple trade mark and tobacco regulation offences. All seized counterfeit items and cash were ordered forfeited and destroyed by Woolwich Crown Court.
