Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a serious incident in Tonbridge where a man in his 70s was badly hurt.
At 12:14 PM on Friday, a white Kia hatchback collided with the pedestrian on Cornwallis Avenue, near Orchard Drive. The elderly man was transported to a London hospital with serious injuries. The driver stopped at the scene. Police are now asking for the public’s help.
Enquiries are being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact them.
