Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault at a pub in Birchington during the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident, which occurred at the Sea View Hotel on Station Road, resulted in two men being hospitalized with multiple injuries.

Kent Police confirmed they were alerted to the incident at 12.30am on Saturday 22 November 2025. Patrols and ambulance crews attended the scene and provided initial treatment before transporting the victims to hospital. A spokesperson for the police stated that the two male victims suffered multiple injuries, including wounds to their legs and faces. Whilst serious, the injuries are currently not believed to be life-threatening.

Following initial enquiries, police arrested two male suspects in connection with the incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH). Both suspects have been taken into custody for questioning as the investigation progresses.
