Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a person they urgently wish to identify following a brazen armed robbery at a shop in Gillingham.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Jeffery Street where it is alleged, a staff member was threatened with both a hammer and a knife by a man who then stole the shop’s till before fleeing the scene.


The suspect was last seen running along James Street before heading into a car park on Dalton Street.


Investigators have been conducting extensive enquiries, including a forensic examination of the scene and a detailed review of local CCTV footage, which led to the release of the image. Officers are now appealing directly to the public for help.
