A man has been arrested and charged following disturbing allegations that a woman was repeatedly followed and harassed by a stranger in Tunbridge Wells.
The incident is reported to have occurred on Monday, November 17, 2025, while the victim was visiting the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre.
Following the report and an appeal for information issued by officers, a suspect was detained. On Monday, December 1, 2025, police arrested a man. The 42-year-old, who is from Tunbridge Wells, has since been formally charged in connection with causing harassment, alarm, or distress. He has been bailed with conditions and is required to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 9, 2026.
