Kent Police was called at 5.28pm on Saturday 6 December 2025 to reports of a fracas on the mini roundabout joining Minster Road and Barton Hill Drive in which a victim alleged that a man driving a white Porsche Cayenne had cut him up as he was pulling out onto the roundabout. The Porsche driver then got out of his car and punched him twice in the face through the window.

As the victim left his own vehicle, the suspect attempted to drive into him, clipping him with the wing mirror before driving off. A 41 year old man from Sheerness was later arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Witnesses are being sought following an alleged assault in Minster on Sea and investigators are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them. In particular, officers would like to speak to a pedestrian who told the victim they had seen what had occurred.
