Kent Police investigators are calling for public assistance following a serious road traffic collision on Sunday, 21 December.
At approximately 8:10 am, a white VW panel van collided with a pedestrian in his 80s at the junction of Leybourne Way and Gighill Road. The pedestrian remains in hospital with critical injuries; his dog, also injured in the incident, is recovering at home.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is specifically interested in capturing dashcam or mobile phone footage from anyone in the vicinity at the time of the crash.
