Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pensioner was seriously injured in a Larkfield collision.

The incident happened in Leybourne Way, at the junction with Gighill Road at around 8.10am on Sunday 21 December 2025. Emergency services attended the scene after a white VW panel van was involved in a collision with a pedestrian who was walking his dog. The driver stopped and the pedestrian, aged in his 80s, was taken to hospital with critical injuries. The dog was also treated for injuries and is now recovering at home.
