At around 2pm on Tuesday 30 December 2025, patrols in the Pannell Drive area of Hawkinge became suspicious of a van occupied by two men. The van was followed to Atkinson Road, where officers spoke with the driver and a passenger left on foot.
Enquiries were carried out and, shortly afterwards, both men were detained. Searches led to two mobile phones and a large quantity of cash being seized. Further enquiries were completed and, with the assistance of Police Dog Cloud and her handler, a bag was recovered, containing multiple deals of suspected cocaine, ketamine and cannabis.
