A Tenterden “house of horrors” has been padlocked after months of drug-fuelled misery left neighbours living in fear.
Ashford Borough Council secured a three-month Closure Order on the flat at Longfield in Tenterden, following a wave of “serious” anti-social behaviour.
When officials stormed the property to serve the ban, they found: internal damage throughout, a haul of prohibited items and evidence of illegal substance use. The locks have now been changed and the windows secured.
Under the strict court order, nobody is allowed inside except for Council and Police officers.
To ensure the peace sticks, a ‘Big Brother‘ spy camera has been installed to monitor the block 24/7 and cops have issued a final warning to nearby residents: Do NOT harbour the evicted tenant or you could be next.
