Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a reported robbery in Canterbury on the evening of Tuesday, 23 December 2025. The incident took place at approximately 10pm within the St Radigunds Car Park, where a man was targeted for his property.

According to investigators, an unidentified male approached the victim and issued threats before demanding his watch. After obtaining the item, the suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot, walking in the direction of the Sainsbury’s supermarket located on Kingsmead Road.

Officers arrived on the scene shortly after the report was made and have been conducting enquiries to identify the individual responsible. These efforts include a comprehensive review of CCTV footage from the surrounding area.

Detectives are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the encounter or seen the suspect’s movements to contact the East Kent appeals line at 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/219256/25. Furthermore, local residents with private security cameras or motorists who were driving in the vicinity with active dashcams are asked to review their footage for any relevant information that could assist the investigation.
