Kent Police arrested four suspects on Thursday night after intercepting an attempted theft at an industrial site in West Kingsdown.
Officers arriving at the scene around 8:15 pm observed a JCB being driven off the premises; the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot but was quickly apprehended with the help of a police dog and air support.
A subsequent search of the surrounding area led to the detention of three additional individuals—two men and a woman—and the identification of two vehicles linked to the crime. All four suspects have since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
