It is reported two men were involved in a verbal altercation in the car park at the Rose Inn pub in Ashford Road, Bearsted on Friday 16 January 2026, between 4.30pm and 5.10pm .
One is alleged to have got into a white Ford Transit van which collided with the other man after which he was treated at hospital for leg and head injuries and a 36-year-old man was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident on Friday 30 January. He has since been released on bail.
