Two men have appeared in court following a burglary at a store in The Orchards Shopping Centre, Dartford, on Friday 13 February.
Jewellery and watches were stolen during the incident, which also saw two people assaulted; fortunately, their injuries did not require hospital treatment.
A man aged 47, from Battersea, has been charged with burglary. A second man aged 49, from Catford, faces charges of burglary and robbery, along with a theft charge relating to a separate matter. At Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the 49-year-old was remanded in custody, while the man aged 47 was released on conditional bail. Both are scheduled to return to court on 16 March.
