Kent Police have detained two men, aged 27 and 28, following a string of vehicle break-ins across Ashford between February 19 and 20. The spree targeted cars and vans in Sandyhurst Lane, Canterbury Road, Maidstone Road, Potters Close, Hillcrest Close, and Hazel Heights, with thieves making off with cash, clothing, bank cards, and documents.
Officers arrested the first suspect in Kennington early on February 20, while the second was apprehended near the town centre later that morning. Both men have been bailed as investigations continue. Detectives are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV and doorbell footage to come forward.
