A month-long crackdown on regional fraud has resulted in dozens of arrests and the recovery of significant funds for scam victims.

Officers dismantled criminal networks involved in romance fraud, postal scams, and rogue trading, preventing at least £50,000 from being lost and reclaiming over £270,000 through bank refund processes.

The operation led to forty-one arrests and several charges after police intervened in cases where vulnerable residents were pressured into paying for unnecessary building repairs or fraudulent services. In addition to the recovered cash, authorities seized fifteen vehicles used by rogue traders and returned thousands of pounds worth of intercepted goods to their rightful owners.
