Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a serious collision in Folkestone.
The incident happened near to the junction of Church Road and Pond Hill Road, at around 5.45pm on Tuesday 10 March 2026 when it was reported a yellow Honda Jazz was travelling from the direction of Horn Street, when it was involved in a collision with a grey Audi A4 that was travelling in the opposite direction. Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, and a woman in her 80s was rushed to a London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Officers investigating the incident are urging any witnesses, including those who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, and anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police should call 01843 222289 quoting 10-1268. Dashcam footage can be uploaded here.
