A 33-year-old man is in custody following a police raid on a residential property in Greenhithe, where a significant cannabis cultivation site was discovered.
Police carried out a warrant at a property in Sayer Close, Greenhithe on Friday, 27 March 2026. Inside the address, officers discovered more than 70 cannabis plants located within the downstairs living area and two upstairs bedrooms, alongside specialized growing equipment. A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
The suspect, from London, has been charged with being concerned in the production of a Class B drug and the abstraction of electricity without authority.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30 March 2026, where he was remanded into custody. His next scheduled court appearance will take place at Maidstone Crown Court on 27 April 2026.
