Kent Police was called at 3.22am on Saturday 18 April 2026 to reports of a car colliding with a wall and a parked vehicle in Canterbury Street near the junction with Dawes Street.
Officers attended alongside paramedics who took one of the passengers, a man in his 20s, to a London hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver is reported to have left the scene before emergency services arrived.
