Police in Dover have arrested three people and recovered suspected Class A drugs following a proactive vehicle stop in the early hours of Thursday, 23 April 2026.

The incident began around 3:15 am when officers patrolling Folkestone Road identified a suspicious vehicle. Patrols followed the car to Bunkers Hill Avenue, where it eventually came to a halt. Officers then detained the three occupants to conduct a thorough search of the individuals and the vehicle. During the search, police recovered a knife, a quantity of cannabis, and a bag containing white powder believed to be a Class A substance. Two mobile phones were also seized as part of the investigation.

The occupants of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man and two women aged 25 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and possession of a bladed article in a public place. All three suspects currently remain in custody while police continue their enquiries.
