GREENHITHE – Kent Police have arrested a man in his 50s following reports of an indecent act in Greenhithe on Friday evening. Officers were called to the Ingress Park Avenue area at approximately 7:20 pm on May 1, 2026, after witnesses reported the incident.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a black Toyota saloon car before police arrived. Following initial enquiries, authorities located and detained a suspect from Canvey Island, Essex. He currently remains in police custody while investigations continue.
Detectives are now appealing for public assistance to progress the case. Investigating officers have requested that local residents review private CCTV footage and urged motorists who were in the area at the time to check dashcam recordings for any relevant data.
