One Person Rescued After Single-Vehicle Crash in Lyminge


LYMINGE, Folkestone — Emergency crews rescued a person trapped in a vehicle following a single-car collision on Stone Street on Tuesday afternoon, 12 May.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 12:03 PM. Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where crews utilized specialist cutting equipment to extricate the occupant. The rescue operation lasted approximately 45 minutes, concluding at 12:46 PM.

The response was coordinated alongside Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service. Following the extraction, the casualty was passed into the care of paramedics for treatment. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the person’s condition or the cause of the crash.
