A 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft following a short foot chase in Broadstairs.
Thanet officers spotted a black Vauxhall Astra, reportedly stolen from Ramsgate, on Margate Road around 3 pm. on Monday 19 May.
When followed into a car park, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. Officers quickly caught up to her near Star Lane, arresting her for theft and two driving offences. The car was seized, and the suspect has been bailed.
