Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle alight in Cecilia Grove, Broadstairs, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Three fire engines were sent to the Thanet scene at 01:54 today, where crews discovered that the fire had spread to nearby fencing, outbuildings, and a second car. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus worked for nearly an hour to extinguish the flames, deploying a main jet and high-pressure hose reel jets.
The incident was successfully dealt with by 02:42. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
