CCTV images have been issued by officers investigating a serious assault in Maidstone High Street.

Kent Police was called to the incident between the junctions with Mill Street and Fairmeadow at 4.39am on Sunday 28 June 2026. Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and a man in his 30s was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds.
He was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable. A second man in his 20s had a cut to his arm treated at a local hospital.It is alleged the two victims were injured during an altercation with a group of people.
An investigation into the circumstances is underway and CCTV images are being released of three men who may be able to assist officers with their enquiries.While the images are blurred it is hoped somebody will recognise them and contact the appeal line.

Witnesses who saw the incident and have not yet spoken to the police should also get in touch. Motorists with dashcam and residents or business owners with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant CCTV footage.
