A man from Dartford has appeared before magistrates following reports of inappropriate behaviour towards a woman inside a venue in Spital Street.
Kent Police were alerted after a woman reported that an individual had made her feel uncomfortable during an outing on Saturday 27 June 2026. The victim stated that despite repeatedly declining his advances, the individual continually touched her arm, attempted to engage her in conversation, and took a photo of her alongside a friend.
Following an investigation that involved a review of local CCTV footage, officers arrested a 44-year-old resident on 4 July 2026. He was subsequently charged with sex-based harassment. The defendant appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 6 July, where he was granted conditional bail. He is scheduled to make his next court appearance at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 28 July 2026.
