Kent Police officers investigating an assault in a supermarket in Chatham have released a CCTV image in which the victim claimed he was grabbed by the neck.
The victim, a man in his 40s reported that on Saturday 27 June 2026 at about 10am, he was grabbed by the neck by an unknown man whilst in Sainsbury’s in Watling Street. The suspect is then alleged to have tried to drag the victim out of the store before leaving.
Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries into the incident and have now released a CCTV image of a man who may have important information.
