Detectives investigating a report of an assault near West Malling are appealing for witnesses, private CCTV, and dashcam footage to help identify the perpetrator.
Emergency services were called at 3.22pm on Sunday 12 July 2026 following reports that three people had been assaulted by a man believed to be known to them at an event on the A20 London Road in Addington. The suspect fled the scene in a black Range Rover before officers arrived.
At the scene, one victim was found with cuts and bruising to his head, back, and hands. Two other victims, a man and a woman, suffered severe eye irritation believed to have been caused by a noxious substance. All three were treated at the scene by paramedics.
Investigators have carried out initial enquiries, including reviewing available CCTV, and are now urging the public for assistance to trace the outstanding suspect.
