Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a man was stabbed during a violent assault in a Maidstone town centre park.
Emergency services rushed to Brenchley Gardens shortly after 5.20pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026, where paramedics treated a man suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was subsequently transported to a London hospital for further medical treatment and has since been discharged.
Detectives investigating the assault have taken two men into custody as part of their ongoing enquiries. A 29-year-old man was arrested on 23 July and has since been released on bail pending further investigation. A second suspect, aged 22, was arrested the following day and remains in police custody.
