Kent Police was called at 5.20pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026 to an incident at Brenchley Gardens, Maidstone.
Emergency services were called and a man was taken to a London hospital by paramedics for injuries consistent with stab wounds. He has since been discharged.
A suspect has subsequently been charged following a serious assault in Maidstone. Over the following 4 days, 4 men were arrested in connection with the incident. A 40-year-old man from the town was charged on Sunday 26 July with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day where he was remanded in custody. His next court appearance is at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 24 August.
