Kent Police was called to Hythe Road in Pedlinge at 6.26pm on Monday 3 August, after a blue Ford Fiesta was reported to have collided with a tree.
Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and SECAMB, but the driver, from Romney Marsh, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and they want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments before.
