At around 11.30pm on Saturday 18 July 2026 a man was allegedly injured by a group of men on Station Road East, just outside of Canterbury East train station. 

The assault followed a verbal row with the group, who were unknown to the victim.

Since the incident being reported on 19 July, officers spoke to several witnesses who were present at the scene, however they are continuing inquiries and would like to speak to anyone with relevant information, who has not yet contacted the police, to come forward.
