A suspect is being sought after three vehicles were attacked during an overnight spree in the Faversham area. A vehicle in Springhead Road was tampered with at around 12.15am on Thursday 6 August 2026 and 30 minutes later vehicles in Blaxland Close and Whiting Crescent were also targeted.

Emergency services were alerted around midnight when a man was spotted opening a car boot and taking items along a residential street. Half an hour later, a suspect was interrupted while searching through another vehicle nearby, before a third incident was reported shortly afterwards involving someone acting suspiciously around a parked car.

Officers attended the scene and conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area, but no suspect was located. The perpetrator is described as a tall man of slim build, who was wearing a dark green hooded top and black trousers at the time of the incidents.

Investigating officers are urging any witnesses who have not yet come forward to get in touch. Authorities are particularly keen to speak with residents who may have captured CCTV or doorbell footage during the relevant timeframe. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police directly or report details anonymously through Crimestoppers.
