Fire crews are currently tackling a significant blaze near Chilmington Green in Great Chart, Ashford, after a fire originating at an industrial premises just after 6.00pm today, 11 August has spread to an adjacent field.
Six fire engines and a bulk water carrier are on the scene, with firefighters actively working to contain and extinguish the flames.
Due to heavy smoke drifting across the area, everyone living or working nearby is strongly advised to keep their windows and doors closed until the situation is brought under control.
