Kent Police is reporting a large quantity of nitrous oxide which was seized by officers in Gravesend following concerns from residents about a suspicious vehicle.
Interest was raised after a car was seen parked on Doria Drive for several weeks and on Thursday 13 August 2026 cops arrived to discover 25 boxes of nitrous oxide concealed beneath a tarpaulin sheet on the vehicle’s back seat.
Further enquiries led officers to search a property linked to the car’s registered owner, where they seized multiple mobile phones, around £2,000 in cash and a further six boxes of nitrous oxide.
A 19-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of drug offences and he has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
