Three Covid-19 vaccination clinics will be offering ice creams and cold drinks to people grabbing a jab this weekend (24 June).

With just days left to get a Covid-19 vaccine, three Kent clinics are hoping to entice more people through the door with the offer of ice creams and cooling drinks to beat the heat when they go along for their jab.

Clinics taking part in the big weekend promotion on Saturday, 24 June are:

  • Whitfield Surgery, 43 Sandwich Road, Whitfield, CT16 3LT.
  • Avicenna Medical Centre, 7 Little Market Row, Leybourne, ME19 5QL.
  • Canterbury Sea Cadets Centre, Vauxhall Road, Canterbury, CT1 1ZN.

The spring booster ends on Friday, 30 June.

You qualify for this jab if you are 75 or over, aged five and over with weakened immune systems, or live in a care home for older adults.

The offer of first and second Covid-19 vaccinations for everyone aged five on or before 31 August 2022 will also end on Friday, 30 June.

The last day to book a vaccine appointment is Thursday, 29 June.
