Police investigators have tracked down a man who has since pleaded guilty to committing sexual offences in Medway.

On Wednesday 27 March 2024, Marek Mosorov went to an amusement arcade in Gillingham town centre, where a woman saw him act indecently while sitting at a gaming machine. The incident was reported to the police and enquiries were completed to locate him. On Saturday 30 March, Mosorov, from Gravesend, was arrested in Cheshire and returned to Medway police station.

On the following day he was charged by officers from the Medway Vulnerability Investigation Team, with outraging public decency. He was also charged with indecent exposure in a communal garden near Luton Road, Chatham on 2 December 2023. This second incident had been witnessed by several members of the public.

Mosorov, 44, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 April. He pleaded guilty to both charges and will be sentenced at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 5 June.

The District Commander for Medway, Chief Inspector Garry Cook, said:

‘Our officers are determined to protect women and girls from the those who seek to accost them in the street or commit sexual offences towards them.
