Police are appealing for information after two women were rushed to a London hospital with multiple injuries following an incident on the A2 Boughton Bypass near Canterbury on Friday evening, 12 April. The women had been travelling in a red Peugeot 207, which veered off the London-bound carriageway and came to rest in the verge.
At around 9.40pm the vehicle was spotted by a passing police officer, and other patrols then attended along with ambulance crews. The driver and passenger were taken to a London hospital.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who saw the Peugeot in the moments leading up to it, should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/59420/24. Motorists with dashcams, who were in the area, are also being urged to check their devices for any important footage.
It’s reported the injuries suffered are not thought to be life threatening.
