Police have released a CCTV image following a high-value theft from Currys electronics store in Aylesford on the South Aylesford Retail Park just before 8pm on Wednesday 10 April 2024
Police say four men entered the store and, while one man threatened a member of staff, the others took laptops to the value of £29,146. The suspects then left the scene towards the Lake Road area. Detectives have now released an image of four people they would like to locate.
Investigating officer, PC Alex Bagnall, said:
‘We would ask that local residents check any private CCTV or dashcam footage between 7.30pm and 8.30pm to see if they have captured the group on film.’
The man who is reported to have threatened a staff member is described as black and around six feet tall, with an average build. He has a short beard and wore his hair in dreadlocks. He was wearing a black jacket, sunglasses, black jeans, and black boots at the time of the incident.
Anyone in the local area with doorbell cameras or CCTV, and drivers who may have been in area at the time are urged to review any footage. Anyone with information should call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/57791/24.
