Shortly after 11.30am on Friday 21 June 2024, a woman was reportedly touched inappropriately over her clothing by a man in the Canterbury Road area of the town.
Officers have since been carrying out enquiries into the incident and have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist the investigation.

A CCTV image has been released by officers investigating a sexual assault in Whitstable.
Detective Constable Sian Smith said:
‘I appreciate the image is not of the best quality, but we hope it may help someone identify the man pictured.’
